Well maybe he needed to get another 2 million. Egbunu and his team got beat by the shorter United squad that only had 4 players on the court against the Douglas team Egbunu plays for the last 7minutes of the game. . Getting beat 4 on 5 by a smaller team had to be embarrassing.

WTF?

How did that happen? Complacency?

I don't think that was the case. Team united only has 6 players to begin with. One guy fouled out and another guy got hurt who was 1 of their best player.

Drew Davis actual playing AAU??? Surprised his Dad isn't continuing to hide him away from competition like normal.

There usually isn't much defense played(except guys like Egbunu who plays hard just about all the time) so maybe he can actually get off some three pointers.

I'm pretty sure he played in that Big Shot tourney in SC about a month ago on that same team. Don't know if he also played last week though.

Looking Forward to: Can anyone touch Florida Elite? They are playing in a few games at the event and it will be interesting to see if they are challenged. Also how will guys like Egbunu, Mostella, and Powell look in a team setting after excelling in camp settings during June and July. This event is somewhat under the radar and should have its share of excellent players and top notch games.

Mama_Bull did see where Demetrius Henry had 29 pts in a game at that same tournament? I don't think we talked about this guy in a while but there is no player in the state of Florida that Heath has wanted more then Henry over the last year. Stan and the coaching staff tried hard to get this kid committed for last class but he reclassified for the 2013 class. Heath knew Demetrius would blow up like Egbunu and he has done just that.

This is my guy for the 2013 class and the 1 that needs to play along side Egbunu at USF in my view. 6-3 combo guard Sam Singer is also at this tournament along with the 6-9 Rimmer kid everybody is after. Henry's teammate on Breakdown Malik Price-Martin has reclassified to the 2014 class and he's another 6-8/6-9 kid that USF was after. I'm sure we will try and get him for the 2014 class.

Rashawn Powell is another guard I wish we would have tried harder for but Heath liked the size of Canady at 6-3 over the 6ft Powell. Plus Canady has the mindset where he can easily except the role as a backup PG for Collins and the next guy that takes over in a couple of years.
