they needed to give geno time to think. if you rush more than two than he doesn't have 8 seconds to find an open guy.

should have had BJ rush... maybe he could have caused a fumble

certainly bad on BJ but 3 and forever and 4th and 10 certainly didn't help. we still had a lead with 6 minutes to play.

good call on the squib it worked so well against Uofl why not try it against WVU.

That was not an intentional squib kick. The kicker's plant foot slid as he approached the ball, causing him to shank it.

gotcha. I thought it was intentional. my bad. thanks for clarifying

he basically got frustrated at an OL and punched the OL in the facemask

called for a 15 year illegal hands to the face... would have been 4th and 10+ if it werent for the boneheaded move

And with the way this season has gone, there is no way they don't convert and go on to win ... Giddins shouldn't be a goat.

I disagree - we still had all the momentum going our way. But we'll never know for sure.

If I was the coach I would have rushed 4 instead of 2. We did the same thing on the last 4th down play. Everybody knows that you put pressure on their QB and you can take control things, but noooooo, we rush 2 guys. What a pair of horrible coaching calls.

Go Bulls!

Our pressure forced 2 INT's, so the decision to rush 2 gys on 2 different occaisions there at the end of the game is just totally baffling.

I don't think WVU would have gone for it if there wasn't a flag. We would have had a short field with a timeout.

Also, the refs seemed to spot the ball incorrectly. It was not a post play foul, so they should have marked the ball from the line of scrimmage and not where the play ended.

Good point ... I was basing that on them being behind, not tied. They would have punted and hoped for OT.
