Strong is a good coach who has passion and desire. I honestly think Holtz is soft and too passive. His players play like his personality.

coaches did better today. at least i left with the feeling they did all they could.

amazing that strong was left with a disaster after kragthorpe the same year holtz was left with leavitt's guys. we are now where they were and they are winning the conference. wow.

Hell I could coach us to a 5 and 7 record for a hell of a lot less money.

Charlie Strong is a great defensive coach with experience playing SEC teams. He was ready to make the step to head coach in the BE and has himself and his team prepared properly.

not sure what that means but he totally turned around a program that was at the bottom of the big east. kragthorpe left that place in shambles. it takes 2 sides of the ball to win games. their offense looked good and that QB has another 3 years.

They do seem to play soft this year - which is the vibe Skipper gives off.
