They could just skip the regular season and go straight to playoffs, it wouldn't matter. The NBA is so boring & predictable.

Predictable? You're telling me that you saw JJ Barrea and Jason Terry taking out Miami in the finals?

http://espn.go.com/n...lly-hunter-says

players reject owners newest deal. Word is most owners didnt even want to be so generous and players feel quite the opposite.

both ends on completey different sides of the spectrum.

millionaire players will go broke and billionaires will lose a ton of cash. i have no idea who will fold first.

Who will fold first? Lebron.

If anyone knows how to fold, it's Lebron.

Agreed... a world without the NBA is a better place.... here's hoping the lockout becomes permanent.

bunch of small town kids. the world is not better without the nba.

figures small market folk do not like the nba. ask people in nyc, la, chicago and Boston if they want the nba.

those 4 cities alone are more important than the whole rest of the country combined.

LOL .... Only people really missing the NBA are, maybe, the one horse towns like Orlando. The people in your Big 4 have too much other stuff going on to give a crap about the NBA. Plus, they've all got a multitude of clubs they can go to get the same experience ...

I'd be willing to bet those in NY would sacrifice the Knicks and Nets before they would the Giants, Jets, Yankees and Mets. Hey, that rhymes.

Same w/ Philly - they love their Phillies and Eagles before the Sixers.

Boston - who knows, but their Sawks and Pats are pretty important.

But I'm sure your post is just another condescending Northeastern-bravado filled thought dump you posted before really thinking about it. As usual.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
