Lets see. It is a bye week. We have 3 losses in a row (after being ranked and 4 - 0). Basketball is about to start and we are picked at the bottom of the conf. Our conference is losing the best teams, and we still cannot compete in it. USF is not being mentioned for any other conference. To top it off, our football coach, who is underperforming in his second season, is being mentioned for other programs in AQ conferences (which we may not be in in 3 years).

Not much to be excited about right now.

Apathy is like the USF administration. They don't say anything because there isn't a dam thing they can do but watch . They just as well be like the band that played while the Titanic sunk . The life rafts are full and have left the ship . Now that is APATHY.

You need to reacquaint yourself with the definition of "apathy" ...

Like the dog that gets kicked too many times.

Although I can't stand Rutgers and a win would pump some air back into us.

Let me re-phrase...

It's monday new rumor day...so the sky is falling again - drink beer.

Walk around in a funk until a Tuesday night article that gives us hope once again - drink beer.

Wednesday and Thursday comes around only to see another member of our conference bail out on us on Friday - drink beer. Saturday's have usually left us with a loss to talk about - drink beer.

And Sunday we at least get to watch the pro game (Red Zone Channel Rocks) without seeing any predictable spread run/option plays or bubble screens - drink beer.

Wash, rinse...recycle.

That about sums up my experience this year for Bulls football. It's completely draining. It's a good thing I like beer.

It's tough not to be apathetic. After a loss, bye week, 2 more losses and another bye week? In a season where we lose the great LRS and are witnessing any school with the ability to leave our conference jump ship? And for the bonus: Our next away game which is a conference matchup against a school we completely hate is not even going to be televised locally? It's really hard to get pumped up about anything this season.

Good summary.

Apathy is when we don't even care to BOO . . . even on Halloween. GB!
