I was almost certain Rutgers was one of the worst teams in the Big East.

Sorry, caught this error in by second time through the thread.

I thought Louisville and UConn were picked to finish worse than Rutgers.

I don't know about "picked".  I just saw their usual cupcake schedule and how they fared.

Then again, they always seem to be better in conference.

My problem with the Pitt performance is that no adjustments were made. Or at least none that we could see or were any good. Very frustrating.

Rutgers spanked that ass. They have made my list as a team to be scared of.

What number in terms of BE or former BE teams?

I have them in no particular order but

Rutgers

Cincy

WVU

Miami

I know Miami isnt in the BE but I would hate to sleep on them and that is a very important game for us. No conference impact but its another game against a national opponent, a Florida one no less.

It shows just how tired our team was the entire game.  It's amazing the score was 20-17 at halftime...USF was winded before the second quarter even started.  That Saturday night-Thursday away game dandem really cost us.

If we were playing Pitt on a full week rest, I honestly believe we win 3 out of 4 times.

Pitt had the middle of the field open all day and they didn't exploit it.

The 4 turnovers surely didn't help their cause either.

If we don't win the Big East title, then beating Miami and Notre Dame du Lac will make the season at least a partial success.

Just like we always seem to be better out of conference.
