Noted that in today's notes, Holtz himself has been battling the flu.  Says it has affected about "half the team" in the last two weeks.

Kudos for the staff for not bringing this up as an excuse earlier.

If we were playing Pitt on a full week rest, I honestly believe we win 3 out of 4 times.

because you had to make a point to say honestly, lets me know you truely do not believe that.

We did not play the same type of football we have all year against Pitt. I think this was a slip-up game for USF. I think this is the only conference game we lose, and I still think the Big East championship will come down to the WVU game. That Pitt game was not our season.

We play exactly the same on defense as we have all year.

we're potentially ******.  if RU is legit, then we better hope we become better before this game.

we need to blow out uconn and not allow another comeback.
