Has there been any word on any coaching changes?  I know FSU is brining in Marshalls' OC.  Is JL sticking to Hobbie and ? as the OC and QB coach?

Nothing has been said about any coaching changes, but many feel that it is possible that if there were changes forthcoming CJL might wait until after signing day as to not chase away any potential recruits who might have been recruited by those coaches.  So if anything is going to happen, I would suspect we will hear about it soon.

FSU supposedly lost 2 of their OL recruits to Florida because of the timing of their O-line coaching change.

Well, let the pink slips fly, we need to shake things up offensively.  If JL cant see that, then maybe he should go.

He recognizes the offense as our currently weakest spot, just look at the focus of our recruiting.  Hopefully, this will translate to the coaching staff as well.

I'm not so sure anymore about Hobbie being fired. We've basically brought marquel back in C4 (Hill). Maybe with Carlton, Hobbie will turn this thing around, who knows!

Well if that is the case than it will be Hill making Hobbie look good, not Hobbie using his talent as a coach to improve the team.  Hobbie has his chance for the past 2 years to do something with the offense and failed.  

But you should look at it from both perspectives.  What if Hobbie and Smith ARE poor coaches.  They could take what we believe to be a great QB and a saviour in Grothe or Hill and not develope them properly, or run the wrong offense for them like they did with PJ and get them to lose confidence in thier game and ruin them forever.  

Why take a chance on that?  There has to be someone out there more qualified than Hobbie, why take a chance at him destorying Hill and/or grothe?

Hobbie must go!

What if PJ isn't really that good... did anyone ever think about that? PJ throws the 100 mph 3-yard passes the last I looked.
