Mixing 1's and 2's not only helps/gives the 2's some experience, it also gives the 1's a little more of an idea what how they'll play IF it were a necessity. I would think it gives the coaches a better understanding of the game plan they could use. Might even push a 1 if the 2 in his spot plays well when he's surrounded by 1's.

Based on what the coaches are saying the 2s will be playing but not mixed with the 1s.  I was a little curious about that but that is what Holtz was saying.  They will play as a unit and will play in the first half regardless of score.

I threw about 6 questions at her -moniker Ritchie T - and she did anwser one about how could she still pick WV as top dog in the BE after their less then stellar start against Marshall and Norfolk St.  She said she wasn't going to "radically" change her picks after two weeks.  I also asked her how she thought with Tenn coming to the swamp this week how she thought the Noles would do ?  Funny she didn't respond to that one.
