Notre Dame and Arkansas are pipe dreams and nothing more.  There's a good chance BYU would say no as well.

Jack Arute and Leach had the SMU AD, Orsini, on their show today and besides having a whiny voice, proabably acquired from the years in Oveido, he sounded just as delusional as when he was over there ... talking about how they would be a good fit for the Big 12 based on the great job Jones has done there.  :-\

Does it make worse sense than TCU in the Big East?

I think it does.  You look at TCU to the closest BE teams and compare that to Pittsburgh and the closest B12 teams

Well, he did get SMU to the CUSA conference championship last year.

He's 16-23 there and has one win over an AQ school ... but I'm not sure that counts because it was Washington State.

Pittsburgh would only be brought in if they got ND.

Either way, with the uneven revenue distribution, I'm not sure any legitimate programs would join.  Even if they got on the better side of the revenue split, theyare in a conference where the have-nots will be ready to bolt at a moments notice.
