I really don't blame a recruit, especially a QB, from taking a wait-and-see attitude on a new coach. While I doubt we're going to bring someone in who implements a Wing-T, I'd think they would want a system where it would be able to best utilize that player's strengths.

I hope he stays but I don't see it happening.

What does "guys who want to be Bulls" mean exactly? Presumably several members of what will end up being USF's upcoming recruiting class have not yet given a verbal commitment to the team. Do these guys want to be Bulls? Isn't their status now exactly the same as Woulard's - that is, not committed to USF? How soon in advance does a player have to swear an oath to play for USF to be allowed to play on you guys' football team, and how many players would actually be on the team if any university actually put such a naive viewpoint into policy?

Let me put it this way. I want USF to recruit really well, but I don't really care about it until signing day. I judge how they did based upon who they were able to sign, not some four or five star kid who led them by the nose for months but decided to wear a Miami lid on signing day.

Those guys who sign on signing day want to be USF Bulls. I don't have time for the other little boys that like to play games to impress their girlfriends on twitter. I understand and don't begrudge folks who follow recruiting... Just not my thing, personally.

This.

I don't care for kids who toot their own horn just for the sake of attention. If he wants to do something special and he loves USF he will come. If not we wouldn't have wanted him anyway. We want team players, not divas.

He just loves attention.... its the only reason you announce your decommitment like that.

I guess this has been obvious to many for awhile. I've been over this kid for awhile. We need guys who want to be bulls.

+100000

Don't blame the kid ... Blame Satan's tool, Twitter.

why Trip, you gettin' religious on us :roflmao:

Twitter/Facebook may turn me into a Believer.... If there's a Devil, there must be a God. ;)

Twitter is great. I have exchanged Tweets with people I'd never be able to contact otherwise, Warren Sapp, Russell Crowe, Scott Hansen, Deuce McAllister, etc..

Sapp needs to get off the social media and figure out how to pay his child support. I was paying well over half of what he had to and my salary has never been close to his. What a moron.

Those who read what I write know that I feel AW can be a great part of our future here and I think he is vital to our immediate future in terms of making us a competitive program again.

Securing a guy like Taggert (my opinion) would show AW a Coach who is COMMITED to the future of our program and can bring immediate stability.

I don't blame the young man for decisions he is making right now and I will applaud him if he sticks it out with us once we put our ducks in a row.

I still feel he has a great opportunity here at USF

AW met with Fitch today and had a "great" meeting, according to his twitter.
