I really can't understand why we aren't after this kid. Great reviews on him being a really nice young man, finished the season with 40 TD passes and WE NEED A QB. I would grab him in a heartbeat. I think the fact that he doesn't have big time offers isn't scary. Sometimes you have to be the lead dog.

This. Maybe he isnt that good. We arent recuiters. But maybe there are BCS schools looking at him but since he doesnt have any offers they will wait until the last minute so they dont put him on the radar.

Especially since we've seemed to have lost out on everybody else at this point. Wasn't a QB a big need in this class? I wonder if the coaches have someone in mind that we don't know about.

don't know what that article said since it's premium, but this one says they offered him as a preferred walk-on

USF should throw a preferred walk on at this guy like UF did. What's the worst that will happen? He might take it since he has a better shot here than in UF.
