Won't be a sellout.  Its against Elon.  I've been to probably the most games in the last 4 years of anybody on this board and the only time the old stadium was packed is when UF came to play us 3 years ago.  Won't happen. 

Now, when the Gators come to Tampa to play us on March 9th, I think that one will sell out easily with the amount of interest in Gator Baseball.

I agree but don't let the name Elon fool you. They have a really good baseball program. Gonna be a challenging series. I believe Elon has gone to the regional tournament the last few years.

I'm not sleeping on Elon.  USF will still have to outplay them to win these games.  I was just reading on Baseball America the projected round of 64 for the tourney.  Put it this way, Elon was mentioned while USF was not.  So we will have to earn those wins next weekend.

I plan on going to one of the opening weekend games vs. Elon... gonna try for the Friday night game.

They should do free taco night or something... that will pack the seats.

I know A LOT of students that are tailgating before hand, and these aren't the typical group that goes to baseball games either.

Even if we don't sell out, the place will be far from empty, that is for certain.

Can you not walk up and buy tickets?

He's probably referring to the fact there's no way to buy them online. I looked into it yesterday since we're not going to be in town until an hour before the game, and unless they've changed something today, there's no way to get them online
