I know many complain about our OOC schedule....but if you compare it to the rest of the BE.....only Pitt may have a stronger OOC than us....West Virginia's schedule is about the same as ours. I bolded what I consider good games that could get national coverage.

USF: FAMU, Ball State, UTEP, Notre Dame, Miami

PITT: Maine, Buffalo, Notre Dame, Iowa, Utah

West Virginia: Norfolk State, Marshall, Bowling Green, LSU, Maryland

Louisville: Murray State, FIU, Marshall, Kentucky, UNC game is in doubt.....UNC may have backed out late

Cincinnati: Miami (OH), Akron, Austin Peay, NC State, Tennessee

SU: Rhode Island, Toledo, Tulane, Wake Forrest USC

Rutgers: Army, Ohio, NC Central, Navy, UNC

UConn: Fordam, Buffalo, Western Michigan, Vanderbilt, Iowa State

Only Rutgers scheduled just one BCS AQ team, all teams scheduled one FCS school. Louisville may be in a bind because it appears that North Carolina is backing out of their game in order to play James Madison. They may have to schedule a 2nd FCS game.....or maybe they could work something out with TCU. All in all, I doubt many of the these games get picked up for National Television. Obviously our ND game will be on NBC. Surely the Pitt v ND and UWV v LSU and Maryland game will probably get picked up nationally.

Thoughts?? Disagreements?? Obviously everyone's schedule will look that much nicer/tougher when TCU is added to everyone starting in 2012.

As usual, Rutgers' OOC schedule is laughable at best.

Pitt and WVU usually play difficult BCS teams and they do so again this season.

I am surprised that Syracuse seems to have weakened their OOC the past couple of years. They usually played 3 BCS programs OOC.

I think RU has an obligation to schedule the service academies.. some kind of tradition I believe

In fairness, Navy isn't exactly a pushover.

Rutgers is such a joke. Watch them still lose a game or two to terrible teams there.

But no way USF should go any worse the 3-2/4-1 OOC with that schedule. If Miami and ND are still down then 5-0 wouldn't surprise me at all. Of course lacking solid QB play again this season could unravel all that.
