Whether anybody wants to disagree with me about his merits or not, thats fine.  I'm sure he's a good QB but I still say screw him.  He had his chance to come here and he decided agaisnt it.  We have several QB prospects now including the 9th ranked HS QB in the country in Hill, I'd rather deal with QB's that want to be Bulls from the start and not view USF as a backup plan or alternative if want they really want to do doesn't work out.

I know the argument to that post is going to be What about Deneson?  He's a transfer.  Indeed he is, and he is contrary to my point, I will conceed.  However, I will say that like Miami when they took Berlin, we were in dire need of a QB.  it's the Exception, not the rule,  when your low on gas you'll take what you need but so long as we can recruit good QB's at the prep level, I'd much rather harvest our own than pick up somebody elses leftovers, even if its a leftover filet.

Brent Schaeffer is a complete idiot. Who would commit themself to a program that has a blue-chip athlete competing at the exact same position? To think he could have gone to an up and coming USF team and had a legitimate shot at being the man for 4 years!
