New Year's Eve Forecast

The forecast still looks to be a bit soggy for New Years Eve but improving as we head toward midnight. A few spotty light showers or drizzle drops may linger into the late evening so it will likely remain at least a little damp tonight. One other issue will be dense fog which will be forming this evening. Visibility may be way down late tonight. Be safe out there!

Hopefully it will snow... snow is better to deal with then rain / sleet.

I'm calling shenanigans.... The weather models will run that far out but they're usually wrong... at best it's a crap shoot. 10 days is about as far out as you want to look... and even at that it's winter and the models change everytime they run...

I'm with Dixie though... if there's precipitation I want snow over rain or sleet....

Why not? The Old farmers Almanac predicts weather for the whole year! Personally I hope he's wrong and we get one of those 60 degree days.

Hopefully this remains constant... good to see that the rain will arrive the day before and be gone by game time.

They're predicting weather 17 days out?

The forecasters rarely get it right the day before.

The 10 day (now 9 days out until the 31st) shows a high of 55, a low of 36 and a 30% chance of showers.  Rain chance goes up to 60% on the 1st, so hopefully that 30% is for later in the day as the front moves in.
