this is getting out of hand...id say pull the scholly but we dont need to burn bridges

Nah, this is just to toy with fans - and it's working. Based on what he said, the staff that he's going to committ to would have been secretly told when he actually decided.

Best of luck to him!  Whatever his choice.

The latest in "Days of our Lives".........

Grady says he's not sure if he'll announce Wednesday

Tue. February 1, 2011 | Joey Knight | Email

Apparently, Armwood QB Josh Grady may need a bit more time to ponder one of the biggest decisions of his life.

On his Twitter pager earlier today, Grady indicated he "may not" be signing on Wednesday, the first day high school seniors are allowed to sign letters of intent with colleges. In an ensuing text message to the Times, he said, "Right now I couldn't give you an honest answer as to if I'm announcing (Wednesday)."

A signing ceremony is planned for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Armwood, but Grady, the Times' all-Suncoast tri-player of the year, said he'd know later today whether he'll be an active participant in it. He has made official visits to Iowa State, USF, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest, though he has received approximately 30 scholarship offers.

Must have been a nice chat with Chickillo

Wish they had continued chatting on FB, so I could know what was said.  ;D

Which of his remaining schools have the best drama program? Probably a good indicator of where he wants to go.

We might get him then. The O face guy from Office Space went to USF.

It's going to be even better to have this many pages of a thread devoted to a guy we probably won't get.

Are you kidding me that he's not announcing tomorrow?  He's been making such a big deal over this that you know he's looking forward to the party tomorrow morning.  I call BS on not announcing tomorrow.  If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but I'm still calling BS.

I'll say one thing about the kid ... he knows his audience and he knows how to play to it.

Out of hand yes, but he could be just toying with everyone since he seems to love being so cryptique with twitter.

I think this is the case.  He's a puppetmaster right now ... he knows it too, and he's loving it.

Just who, exactly, are his strings attached to ...?

Pretty much any of us who have contributed to the 300+ posts on this thread.   :P

More specifically, it's the ones on this thread who seem to have a problem with all his Tweets ...  ;)

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
