Just a thought about the renovations.....ice rink capabilities?

For who?

Well, nothing specific, but maybe just for multipurpose reasons.

Ice Bulls?? But with the Ice Forum just over 15 minutes away I doubt they would. They would have to rip up the concrete floor of the dome to install the cooling system.

Well it could be used by the Ice Bulls, but it can also be used to attract some ice shows to raise some revenues.

The Sun Dome needs to become attractive to shows that come through the area... back before the Ice Palace and the Ford Amphitheater the Sun Dome was a happening place and was probably a good source of extra revenue for USF.

Now its only used by USF and brings in barely nothing revenue wise.

Nice thought but that's not going to happen. To put an ice floor in the sundome would require most of the first level to be folded back... the sight lines would be horrible. That plus the cost of the infrastructure to make it happen will cost wayyyyy too much.
