I saw the horse collar from sec.125 (end zone)

Right call, just a stupid rule that should not be a penalty.

Horse collars destroy knees and ends careers.  It's a good rule.

The second unsportsmanlike was for McClain taking his helmet off.  However, during the play the Rutgers OL had one hand up on the facemask and after the whistle they had the following words:

McClain: Dear Sir, please refrain from putting your hands upon my facemask.

Rutgers guy: But it was not I, but another.

McClain: Sir it was you and your protests fall on deaf ears.

Rutgers guy: But no damage was done so no penalty.

McClain: Kind sir, look at me having to readjust my helmet because of your dastardly deeds.

Then came the flag and whistle.

Obviously this was not caught on a tv camera correct?

The hands to the facemask?  Given the questions on here I assume not.  I could see it as it was straight in front of me.  The conversation above took a keen ear to hear.

Right call on this play, but the play that really pissed me off was the personal foul penalty right after the horsecollar penalty.  The replay was shown on tv and the announcers were befuddled and couldn't find the supposed personal foul.  Good thing they didn't replay this in Ray Jay; there would have been chaos!!!

The unsportsman penalty that was called was announced as 57 in the stadium. That was weak because all he was doing was waving his arms.

That is the play I was referencing....very frustrating call at the time.

It was on 97 for removing his helmet.  Which may or may not have been to make adjustments to it and may or may not have coincided with some taunting.  It wasn't shown on TV or in any replays.

The announcers on TV also thought the ref said 57, but they meant 97 whether they said 57 or not.
