Much better special teams (despite that inexcusable TD return last night)Great reduction in penalties A offensive game plan that has actually evolved over the course of the season so farA much more media friendly personality This hire is looking pretty gamn good at the moment and could be great if we start to make a big push in recruiting as we draw closer to the homestretch/crunch time in the recruiting cycle. CJL is no longer our coach, so let it go. it is obvious, from the Cincy game to the Rutgers game that our coaching staff makes ADJUSTMENTS. hell, look at the performance of BJ before the Cincy game and since then. YES, the big difference is that Holtz & staff are COMPETENT.as we progress through the Big East, you will see more adjustments and more tweeks. With the maturation of BJ in this system, i think we may be a darkhorse for the Big East next year.

Shoot even the announcers today were like, "You don't have to play sandlot football"The man also has personality for days. Now if we could just get the D a little bit more aggressive. They have been playing a little too soft in coverage the last 2 weeks.

And as mentioned already the disapline improvement is so obvious that even Jay Leno could notice .. ;D

Holtz is building the program from where Leavit brought it. Which is what was expected he would do when hired. This is coming from a big Leavitt fan. You can actually see the positive effect of Holtz and his staff is having on the team. Awesome to beat RU.

They have been playing a little too soft in coverage the last 2 weeks.I think overaggressiveness has bit us in the butt on defense in the past. It may be a direct correlation to our penalties in the past, as well as how people would capitalize on our overaggressiveness for going all out on the QB on defense with screen passes and running the ball up the middle.notice how last night, none of the screen passes worked against us and we did a good job stuffing the room.. that's the Holtz adjustment for ya ;D
