Teddy would beat out DaMarcus Smith, so I'm sure he's not to worried about who's going to be the starter. He's a more complete all-around QB and he has much more size.

Teddy won't be a "toast of the town" if competing with Smith who is a local player.

I disagree, I don't think fans care about local kids that much if there is an athlete out of state that is better. All fans care about is winning regardless of where the athlete is from. Most Louisville students probably don't even know Smith is from Kentucky.

smh

strong is a master recruiter if he gets this kid, he's changed the perception of lousville from doormat to possible contender (apparently) in a single...6-6...season.

Perception of ,Louisville changed when we had Kragthorpe but lets not forget UL won the Big East and a BCS Bowl before Kragthorpe also had been to 10 straight bowls before Kragthorpe got there as well.  You can definitley win at Louisville with the support and the facilities they have we just had the wrong coach in there for 3 years now it seems we have the right one.  UL will be back in the mix shortly.

Never seen facilities win a game yet. I hope Charlie stays long enough to make a difference, it's kind of looking like the Viille is a placeholder for a bigger job for him.

Unless Rich Rod and BK right their ships, that may not be the case in the future ...

Oh it will always be that way trust me if Skip Hotlz or Strong take their programs to a BCS games or get to a 11-1 or 12-0 record.  Programs will be kocking on the door.  Strong and Holtz will be particulary attractive since they have a Florida recruiting connections.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
