I believe he was 17 yrs old when this picture was taken. Just don't see lot of African boys with his size. What was he eating...women and small children?

For weighing in at nearly 300 lbs. he looks extremely lean and muscular.

For weighing in at nearly 300 lbs. he looks extremely lean and muscular.

If I did the math correctly, that pic is around 2 years olds, which would put him around 16 so not sure if he was that heavy back then .... Articles say he should have no problem qualifying so can't wait to get him actually signed ... only twinge of apprehension is the "minor" knee injury ... hopefully it was just "minor" and not reason other schools may have backed off.

this kid is a beast.  i'm sure that if we can't coach him to do certain things, we can sure as heck change our play style to accomodate his strengths.  i mean seriously, 7'-3" 290!!!
