According to the radio on the way home, listening to the post-game show, it was announced that the attendance was 40,000

Looks pretty sparse right now...hopefully they're in the bathroom.

They remained in the bathrooms till about 8 minutes into the 4th quarter and then headed to the parking lot!

I don't know how they got that number, the place looked very bare.  At least 1/2 of the people in our section weren't there.  And by mid 4th quarter there were more WKU fans than Bull fans.

By tickets distributed, bought, etc.

And they don't change the count in the 2nd half  ;)

But why limit the school to 40k to begin with? What happens if USF blows up before then and has more than 30k season tickets sold? Do you turn away fans? Do you shrink the student section? Of course stadiums can be expanded for larger capacity, but the rate USF is going, a 40k seat stadium wouldn't do the fans any good. Does that make sense? (i feel like i'm babbling)

Seeing improvement in our future, I'd think we need 60.

If we have 40k for WKU... I'd expect 55 for WVU, Miami, etc.

and if we're doing well, we'd easily sell out for conf games.

I would be really surprised if there were more than 30,000 actually in attendance.  Someone on here knows how to get that figure from TSA.
