With Norfolk State playing them so tough, makes you wonder what we could've done if we had a head coach that actually knew how to properly utilize our talent the last couple of seasons.

That didn't take long...

I propose a drinking game for the The Bulls Pen.  Every time someone alludes to our former coach in a completely non-related thread, we drink!

Tau.reanb... Ain't going to lie. I don't like taking shots at a coach that I played for, but sometimes you have to place the blame where the blame is due. I won't place the blame on Coach C... Don't think he ever really had full control of the offense. Just my take on things. I'll cool my jets. Sometimes though, I can't fully understand how we lost to some of the teams we lost to.

I'm not saying I disagree with you.  I mean, that coach admitted he never made gameplans!  But it's a Holtz New Era and I'm sure the new guy will change our pattern of dropping games to inferior opponents.  And one can only hope that means dropping the hammer on the Rutgers Scarlet Gnats!

Yeah, I'm still puling for Pitt (down 17-10 right now); but I was hoping Rutgers would lose like little bitches.  They're the ONLY Big East team I won't root for when playing OOC!  >:D

I wanna say Rutgers was holding back...but they dont play anybody outside of conference play!

Rutgers is very skizophrenic at times. They could end up playing well but who knows, this was just game 1

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."
