Today's Groupon - USF Tickets

For $80, you get a season pass, good for a lower-bowl end-zone seat in Section E (a $170 value).

For $12, you get a ticket to the September 25 game against Western Kentucky, with a seat in the upper bowl around the 25 yard line, section 333 (a $25 value).

For $12, you get a ticket to the October 2 game against Florida Atlantic, with a seat in the upper bowl around the 25 yard line, section 333 (a $25 value).

I saw this today too.  Nice deal.  I didn't see too many of those seats in the South Endzone available at Fan Fast on Sun.

Great deal for endzone tickets.  It says new season ticket holders only.  Wonder how/if that's enforced.  I woudn't mind adding a couple tickets for the inevitable tailgate guests that end up looking to scalp each game (not fans of the visiting team, obviously).  You could almost make your money back selling them for $10 each.

You should get points for the use of the tickets.  I think it's 1/2 or 1/4 point per ticket per game.  Since this is a non-donor section you won't get points for purchasing the tickets (the donation required for ticket purchase).

Buying them through Groupon, how will they know what account to give the loyalty points to?

I'm guessing that when you buy through groupon, they just give you an email coupon that you use to contact usf athletics with, and then the account manager will apply appropriately.

I would think that when you buy the Groupon that they would sign you up for a new account to start accumulating points.  They at least have your name and email address, and probably your address.  At the very least you could probably call in a day or two and tell them you bought the Groupon and to make sure they have you down for an account. 

Note:  all of this is just speculation, so don't take my word for it.
