Interesting ranking from cfn.com ranking USF as the #44 football program over the last 5 years.  That runs the full length of our time in the big east and puts us one spot ahead of louisville.

That's very impressive and now the task is to rank higher than that over the next 5 ultimately becoming a perennial Top 25 program, but that's a huge step.

44 is most likely below average for a BCS team. I can't open the link so I can't do the math, but odds are.

66 BCS teams. even accounting for the non-bcs teams ranked ahead of us, we still would fall into the bottom half of BCS teams.

we rank 5th in the BE with UofL one spot behind us.

Both below average.

I guess the population to compare to would be teams' rankings first five years in BCS Conference.  I'll get to work on that.

Looking at the numbers, the things holding us back are the APR score and the draft score.  Not so much the on-the-field stuff.
