Unless the NCAA votes to allow for a 12-game season, this means 5 home games in 2005:

FAMU 9/10

UCF   9/17

3 Big East conference games

Away games:

Penn St.

Miami (FL)

4 Big East conference games

Miami is like a home game... it's close enough. Who cares if we have six home games when we play Tenn Tech and schools like that.

This is a great schedule - our out-of-conference games are either great traditional teams, or in-state schools who will bring a large crowd.

Tip of the hat to the AD & anyone who was involved with setting USF up with a great schedule. You have to think the only reason we're playing Penn St & Miami is the Big East connection. It just makes us so much more attractive an opponent to these types of schools because they know what kind of media exposure they will be getting. Schwing!

2.Lets see the 2006 schedule in place before the end of the 2005 season

3. lets see the future next three years flesh out

Please, please, please run from ESPN when they bring this game up.  The last thing we need is this game NOT on a Saturday - would really deplete what should be a great showing from Bulls fans.

bulls96go - I don't think there is an out for Miami.  We will be playing there.  The return is going to be determined on the 12 game rule, i.e. if the 12 game rule is passed then Miami will be here in 2006, if not then it will be at some other future date or, in my own opinion, we will get paid for a one way trip.

This is the best Chritsmas gift ever! Wildrover is right on, the key is that UM agreed to come to our place for a game. Props to them, the Gaytors wouldn't do it.

Interesting quote RH....

Leavitt and Urban Meyer are friends so I wonder if we can get UF down for a game.

Something to realize about this game is that Leavitt and Coker are good friends. I remember reading in the Times that one of the first messages on Leavitt's answering machine was from Larry Coker when USF upset Pitt.

Then again, considering the reverence that Leavitt gives Coach Synder at K-State, one would thought K-State would be willing to travel to Tampa despite our efforts to arrange a game with them.
