Having been released from his letter of intent by USC this week, linebacker Glen Stanley announced Friday that he will head to Florida State.

"My heart is at Florida State," Stanley said. "I have a great connection with all the coaches. It was tough to leave USC because I liked the coaching staff but I want to play for a championship and play in a bowl game."

He is lazy and questionable anyways.

Man, some of you are worse than a jilted lover. The underhanded comments are uncalled for. Good luck to Stanley, I hope he's prepared to lose on the Noles next trip to Ray Jay.

He'll be gone by 2012.

Yeah, we dont have to worry about seeing him in Ray Jay...JUCO guys can be hit and miss with only 2 years, im doubting he will be the next JPP...I bet he would have had an easier time getting PT here though.  Good luck to him.

Underhanded, I thought it was straight forward.  Enjoy the drive, hey it is all highway.  Cruise control.  I wish him the best of luck and a good two years.

Stanley started his career at Bowling Green in 2007, sat out 2008, played in junior college last season. He also committed to UCF and Tennessee at various points prior to landing at USC.

Hope he finds a home in Tally

From BFeldmanESPN on Twitter

Heard that FSU still has lots of paperwork to vet to determine if JC LB Glen Stanley can play this fall. Noles staff found out more on Fri.

about 2 hours ago via web

If FSU is having problems getting him enrolled, just imagine what the USF academic committee would say.
