This is what I previously read on Tomahawk nation which is an FSU site about Stanley:

"Stanley would make an excellent backup to right defensive end Brandon Jenkins, providing an immediate impact pass rusher and needed depth."

Do we have room for him?  I mean are we not at 85 and full on scholarships?

I think GA counted 84 at the moment, based on the current roster and known transfers. That doesn't include WR Montague who may still qualify. There could also be some scholarship players leaving.

Hopefully, Holtz knows the situation.

This certainly doesn't help our chances. FSU LB Nigel Carr was arrested on multiple charges a few days ago and may be suspended.

I guess we countered with Sam Barrington getting arrested...?

Yep. Holtz really is a genius at game planning.  ;)

Hopefully, he shows up.  :-\

What about that trip to USF on Friday?

“I don’t know; that’s a good question,’’ he told the FSU fan site. “I want to be done but I told the coaches down there [i would visit],†he said. “I know what I want to do, but I’ll make my decision Saturday. It’s going to be something with my family and I don’t want to go through a big ordeal.’’

Based on Stanley’s comments, sounds like Skip Holtz and Co. have their work cut out in landing Stanley, but in recruiting, you truly never know. Regardless of where he ends up, Stanley will have two years of college eligibility remaining.
