Go big east, consolidate your power.  Be aggressive.

Hmm. That's a different setup.  I dig it though. That configuration would OWN March.  Pipe dream is still an expanded ACC as travel would be less nightmarish.

That's a great article. Both the football and basketball expansion ideas are awesome.

:ROFLMAO

This story is proof positive that the Big East leaders are delusional into thinking that they will survive this 16 team mega conference realignment without kicking out the basketball schools.

The Big East is dead, there can be no debate about it now... they are too full of themselves .

Um, no.  The Big 10 and the Pac 10 were saying the same thing, until emails were uncovered that showed they were recruiting heavily.  The SEC said they weren't talking to anyone, and they had already made an offer to A&M.

Also, the "unnamed source" said they would not "poach" another school, but if a school wanted to talk to the Big East, they would listen.  So you have a third party call Missouri and tell them that the Big East would love for Missouri to call.

This story means nothing at all.

+1.

The Big East should agressivelly pursue the remaining B12 teams if the B12 falls apart. If that happens Memphis would also make sense. But the BE shouldn't stop there; it should then also go after TCU. Hopefullly the BE Commisioner is not a ***** and is willing to do what it takes to save BE football!

Losing those Big 12 teams to the Mountain West would mean that the BE Comissioner is inept and has no clue!
