... try him out for another position.

...

NEVER !

To be fair, E.T., Matt himself said that he would move to Safety if it meant playing in the NFL.  Remember that JoPa himself offered Matt a full ride to Penn State as a DB.

The NFL don't like short QB's, LB's and WR's (under 6'0). White  running backs.

He also said he would be a long snapper.

He's a proven QB from Day One ...

And by the way, how tall is Colt McCoy ?

ET,

We all love Matt, but you are setting yourself up. Please don't compare him to Colt McCoy.

Reasons I wouldn't draft Matt

1. Sketchy decision making (see 44 ints in 42 games)

2. Average (at best) arm strength.

His height is a detriment, but it has nothing to do on why he won't get drafted.

McCoy is accurate (70% completion percentage), makes good decisions, and has a strong arm to make all the throws (especially the out pattern), and is a winner. Don't compare MG to this kid.

Height was the issue, how tall is McCoy ?

I say even McCoy isn't a real NFL QB talent. I doubt he or Grothe has tons of success in the NFL. However, the CFL is a different story.

But maybe Josh Mcdaniels gets a wild hair in the 6th or 7th round and picks up grothe

JaMarcus Russell is 6'6 with a huge arm. That's it. And he was drafted by the Raiders. THE FREAKIN RAIDERS! If Matt had a big arm, and was standing above 6'0. He would get drafted.
