If ACC adds 4, USF will be added, if they only add 2, we may get left out.

If the Big Ten takes Rutgers and Pitt that would make USF and WVU a logical choice to join the ACC.

Whatever happens, one thing that is for sure is that USF will NOT get left out.  A school of our size, in the state of Florida, and a helluva marketable coach would not be left out of conference realignment.  I rest easy knowing that whatever becomes of the Big East, USF will land in a soft place.

But I agree, if the B10 takes three Big East schools (Syracuse, Rutgers, and Pitt), USF and WVU are headed for the ACC.

If the SEC is courting Clemson and FSU, that means Texas and A&M have already said no...or perhaps they're going to the Big Ten? LOL

Those 2 are logical SEC choices though. Clemson has a good SEC style fanbase. We all know about FSU's following. FSU is probably the only Florida school UF would be okay with letting in anyways.

I think Texas and A&M would stay put, and the Big XII would look at adding someone like TCU, Boise St, BYU, maybe Houston or SMU.

Record vs [current] Big East Members: 0.512

Record vs [current] ACC Members: 0.571

Sounds good to me...

There have been rumors circulating that the SEC has offered FSU and Clemson to join the SEC.  JP on his afternoon show also mentioned it.  This could be the start of a snowball effect that could alter the makeup of several conferences.  If FSU and Clemson join the SEC, and the Big Ten raids the Big East, USF could be in play to join the ACC, which would be great for the Bulls, closer travel for all sports and warmer weather for football.

woolard better make a push for the acc if this is true

well thats interesting. Don't know why they would want Vandy. Maybe to boost up the bball league and academic standing of the conference.... Even if the ACC adds 2 more teams now, first is WVU then Louisville

Guys (and gals) the last ACC expansion focused on ONE HUGE thing along with football...academics. They wouldn't even look at WVU or Louisville because of this in 2003-2004.

Duke, Virginia, Wake Forest, and UNC made it a requirement for them to agree.

909 - so long as we're in that range any ACC expansion inclusion will be unlikely.
