Depaul is terrible. But we are 8-9 in the Big East. Unreal. What a turn around. Big game saturday, it will be awesome to watch.Stan Heath has done a hell of a job. 8-9 and in the top half of the league. What a turn around. This has been a great year, I hope the team can finish off strong. I think the NCAA tournament is still not out of the question if the team can beat UConn and get the No. 9 seed and win two games in the tourney. Getting No. 8 and winning two games would be great too, but considerably less likely.Either way, the NIT or better seems like a lock at this point. Fantastic. Guest nybullsfan
Cincy losing was nearly as huge for us.IF we beat UCONN, we hold tiebreakers over everybody else and are a lock for #9.What has to happen for us to get to #8?

The thing is we could end up being the 8th seed if ND doesn't take care of business and we beat Uconn.

Would be easier to get 2 wins as #9. Of course if we go 1-and-done then we're not dancing anyways.

If ND goes 1-1 and the Hoyas lose they move up to 7th and we move up to 8th if we beat UCONN.

I think I'm right about this.

We want to be as high as we can get.Rooting for ND to lose out is easy, I hate ND anyway! There's a huge psychological boost to finishing the regular season on the first page of the BE standings. Let's go #8!!Of course, none of this matters if we don't beat UCONN. So all you local folks get out to the Sun Dome this weekedn and make some noise!!Then head over to the IM fields and support your Bulls Rugby team. At #9 and win over DePaul in the opening round does nothing to improve our chances and we would still have to win vs #9 and then face #

We'd have to win 2-3 in MSG, plus handle UConn.Bluntly put, our OOC schedule was terrible. That does mean something.I think the NIT seeding should be sweet now
