Holtz's oldest son, Trey, a 10th-grader, enrolled at Plant High this week and plans to join the football team as a quarterback when spring practice starts.

It's a blurb at the very bottom...Talk about something that could pay off big for the future...

A bit OT, but didn't Gruden have a son named Trey who played football, also?

Another successful recruiting job by Robert Weiner What a stroke of luck to get Skip Holtz's kid to enroll at Plant!

Deuce baby!  He's a hard-nosed dude at CDS, and plays QB and LB for them I believe.  He's tiny, like 5-8 but the coaches there say he's tough as nails and a good kid.  To small for anything other than DIII, NAIA stuff but who cares he's at CDS and needs to get a good education.
