Indeed...we didn't stay IN-HOUSE to get them.  Remember when we brought in OTHER assistants that used to be head coaches elsewhere(McCarney) and we became #2 in the nation?

hmm...

Wow...look at that you get qualified people and you do better.  WHAT?!?!?!

Expect BIG things this year...

GO BULLS!!!

Still, worried about offensive line coach(es) as only Larry Scott is listed.

The coaching staff as a whole seems to be much improved. Several members of the staff have championships as well as recruiting ties throughout the U.S.

The main reason (i imagine) Scott was kept was because of his recruiting. He is from central FL and knows everyone. Also, it's hard to say our offensive line was that horrible. They weren't great, but they are were very young last year and showed great improvement. Coach Scott may not have the resume like some of the other coaches, but he is one of the best assistants USF had.

While loyalty to staff is commendable, I think 'loyalty to a fault' may have been applicable under CJL.  i agree that we've upgraded coaches, but the question is how quickly the players will respond to the new personalities and styles.  I do believe that players will come out wanting to make good first impressions and the veteran players can't rely on past experience, starting position competition from much closer to even than in the past.

that goes A LONG way.

I think it's a great mix of old and new. I am definitely more excited for the potential of this staff.
