USF to a 4/5* guy is on the same level as ECU to a 3/4* guy. He has to be able to sell the program, make kids believe that BIG things are in store for USF. It should be a little easier for him here, but I think it's one of those things where you either have it or you don't.You know what they always said about Big Tom Callahan, he could sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves.I think that it was pretty easy for Leavitt because he truly had so much passion in the program. He could tell a kid anything because he sincerely believed that USF was the best place in all of college football. Holtz will need that same passion, he's got to fully buy into the program, and then get out there and sell it.

Position coaches recruit more than head coaches.

Jake Kaufman, a 6-foot-9, 330-pound offensive tackle from Brick Township, N.J., picked the Bulls on Sunday during an official campus visit.http://blogs.tampabay.com/usf/2010/01/big-commit-jersey-tackle-69-330-picks-usf.htmlThis guy was recruited by big ten schools. I think you will see that holtz will be an excellent recruiter.

Certainly not to the extent of Florida, Notre Dame, etc., but I wouldn't be suprised to see a few guys from other areas of the country each year.
