Not unexpected.  I thought he'd end up there and take over from Snyder in a few years.  And his ins here in Florida will help K-State recruit a couple of guys from down here.

Apparently, he is going to land on his feet somewhere.

rightfully so.

leavitt made a mistake (which he didnt admit to..which is probably the bigger mistake of the two) but the guy is a football coach if there ever was one.

he needs to be a DC at a major program (hopefully one that we dont play very often)

but he is not a HC. atleast at the BCS level.

I would have to question the reliability of your source.  Snyder just filled the only opening in his staff.  The only way Leavitt could go to K-State is for Snyder to fire someone or step down himself.  I'm not saying it is not possible, but it seems unlikely.
