ET, what has Magee shown you? Michigan has been atrocious. I'm hoping for Tuberville.

Typical bullspenner....has no clue what there talking about....Rodriguez went to michigan and changed there whole system everyone knew they would be awful for at least the next few years

I've thought about the same thing. Florida speed in the Texas Tech offense would be absolutely unreal. And add in BJ's arm.

Wow

I would be very happy with Magee.

I'm with you, ET. Magee would be great. save a few bucks on the hc salary and get some top notch coordinators.

magee was OC at WVU for 3 years. he had a top 5 offense every year. they were dumb to pass on him in order to hire their TE coach. magee was the one who won the fiesta bowl by calling the plays that dismantled the OU defense.

Magge has strong ties to USF and the Tampa area. he coached high school ball here before joining leavitt's staff for the first 5 years.

I seriously doubt we could afford Tubby and Magee has done well, MI is changing over a new system to other players.

I think he could do well with our players NOW.

Could you imagine what he would be able to do with the Florida talent. I know they wont bring him in because of how CJL left but WOW.

The point totals would be hilariously high when UC and USF played!

go away

Per ESPN>

"Florida defensive line coach Dan McCarney, former Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville, who has strong ties in the state of Florida from his tenure on Miami's coaching staff, and Michigan offensive coordinator Calvin Magee are expected to be candidates to replace Leavitt, a source told ESPN.com's Ivan Maisel."

Maisel usually has good sources, so I expect it will either be one of these 3, or someone so completely out of left field that nobody could have predicted it

If we hire McCarney, we probably lose Tresey, which may or may not be a good thing, he hasn't been here long enough to judge, IMO.

Tubs is a class act, no doubt, but I have my doubts that he could succeed without the support structure of a place like Auburn. Will probably be good for recruiting, though.

I know nothing about Magee

I am nearly speachless, sad day in USF football history.

I still vote for Gus Malzahn as a realistic candidate.
