Colby said its pretty obvious it has happened and doesnt know why the investigation is still going on.

im going to guess he knows more about it thatn everyone in this site

It's obvious it happened even though he is on record as to not being in the locker room at the time of the incident? I am not listening to the interview, but how much credibility does he have?

Chris Robinson was there and said it didn't happen and he is a guy who was certainly in Coach's doghouse over the years.

Colby is showing what is motivating him to do this right now as he talks about his 1on1 meeting with Leavitt about his knee and not letting him ever play again.

Wow, very surprised by what Erskin is saying. Duemig is not leading him anywhere, he is flat out saying that this happened, and that all of the players know what really happened that day.

He's saying that he thinks Miller is just scared to come out with the truth, but if he did, all of the players would have his back. Says that Leavitt grabbed him once to try and pull his sleevs off and Erskin slapped his hand away and told him to get off him. Said Leavitt wanted them to be tough and not wear sleeves for the cold.

Erskin says he had asked several other players about the incident that were in the locker room at the time, and all corroborated the original story. Says the players are all worred about being labeled a snitch or losing playing time.

Duemig asked Erskin about returning to find his locker emptied. Says he returned to ask the equipment guys what happened to his stuff. He asked Jeremy, the head equipment guy and he didn't want to tell Colby. Colby ask, "did coach Leavitt clean it out?" and he shook his head, yes. Told Erskin to go talk to Leavitt about it. Erskin looked around and says he found it all in the trash bin up front. He still had 4 months of rehabilitation to complete and needed to keep his stuff in there, but could not be assured that the stuff would not get thrown out again. Doesn't sound like he ever confronted Leavitt about the incident. Says he went to Gonzalez and told him what had happened, along with some other stuff.

Leavitt had contacted Erskin's old high school coach and told him that Colby was "the snitch." Erskin says he wasn't, because he wasn't even there when it happened. Said Leavitt was looking for someone that leaked the Miller story.

Erskin says that Miller told him his parents were furious shortly after hearing of the incident but Erskin does not know why they backed down after coming out. Erskin says he feels badly for Miller because he is in a tough situation. Says he was in a similar situation once, he was in a meeting with just him and CJL before the Cincy game and CJL told him he was never going to play another down at USF because he didn't play as quickly as he wanted after his leg injury and rehab. He had been cleared by the doctors but didn't feel like it was ready. When he got on the plane immediately after the Cincy game CJL stopped him and told him "you're done, you're never going to play again." Erskin told him, "yes I am."

According to Erskin someone told Leavitt that he (Erskin) was the "snitch" and as a result Leavitt emptied his locker and threw his stuff in the trash according to the Equipment Manager.

Colby knows of the other players that have talked to the investigator and have told him the truth. He did not reveal the names. They have not investigated every single player, they seem to be choosing who they are asking. Says he thinks they are doing a good job with the investigation. Does not know if Joel Miller will ever say anything again. Says that Miller is mad at him for coming forward, and told Erskin that it was "his fault" that this was released to the public. Miller and Coach Leavitt think it was Erskin that leaked the story. He says it was not him. The quotes in the newspaper were from people that saw it happen, not him. He was not the original guy that leaked it, and Erskin does not know who that person was.

Tried to summarize it as best I could guys. Erskin sounded sincere to me. I am not going to judge, but will follow closely to see how this plays out.

Colby knows players who told the investigators exactly what happened. and what was initally reported was what happened.  Kid is not lying.  its obvious.

Investigators will take the evidence and have to fire Leavitt, unless they are in favor of coaches hitting players.

unreal.
