where is he going?  i know he is only a jr but you would think that he can go wherever he wants.

i doubt we are in the running for him but it sure would be nice to be able to secure some more top home-grown talent.

just dont tell me he is heading to UF please.

He is a bigtime national level recruit.  Question is where he will end up playing as he's already a big guy (6'2" 230) so if he gets much bigger he will end up a DE.  Otherwise RB or LB.  We are a longshot.

Rumor is that UF is in the lead, but who knows with the current Meyer situation.

there is NO chance that wilder comes to USF...

absolutely NONE...

he might be the #1 recruit in the land coming out of next season.

His ranking has nothing to do with getting him, it's his desire where to play. Most didn't think we'd land the DE from Armwood.

Just wish/hope we're on his radar.

there needs to come a point where USF is atleast in the running for these type of kids from our own backyard.

granted, miami doesnt get every big time recruit in their area.  texas loses some kids from their backyard to other schools.

mark ingram left the state of michigan to go to alabama.

pryor left PA for ohio st.

but we need to atleast be in the running for these blue chippers.  it will only help us get to mid-level recruits to come here.

bottom line, we need to get better players from our own area.

Reaching here ... don't know the relationship with Magee and Wilder, Sr.

And no, I don't think we should hire a guy for the chance to recruit a player.

Can I do my best passive-aggressive ET imitation, and mention on the USF board that Wilder has Miami as his favorite?

What if I include a winking emoticon?
