Maybe they can't beat Bama or Texas but nobody will ever know... Who is to say they don't deserve a shot...?Imagine if we were in this position... I would be enraged... If TCU actually went to the NC game over them, it would be simply unbelievable.
Green is Good Posted December 7, 2009 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 182 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 11/16/2008 Share Posted December 7, 2009 It's really the only real sport that doesnt get a clear cut champion, it's unfortunate the BCS conference schools love it this way, it all boils down to $$$$$.FCS has a 16 team playoff, although they only play 11 regular season games. Imagine if the FBS did something similiar, although including all the conferences would water it down a bit but imagine.....1. Alabama16. Troy8. Ohio St9. Georgia Tech5. Florida12. Penn St.4. TCU13. LSU6. Boise St.11. Va Tech3. Cincy14. Cent Mich7. Oregon10. Iowa2. Texas15. ECU

Cincy was 1 second from going to the national title game but Texas pulled it out.

The BCS is a mafia, and while we are a part of it, I just feel that the rest of the member conferences are looking for any reason to kick the Big East to the curb. Now if Texas loses then Cinci should be in title and if Texas and Cinci lost TCU should be there.

Think about if this process was used in high school or pro sports. Imagin at the end of the regular season the NFL just selected the teams with the two best records to play in the Super Bowl. It would never be welcomed. So why is it okay in college?
