leavitt should be fired because today i ran out of viagra

i have over fifty thousands posts and yet i have had nothing of substance to say

in 3 years i will be doing the same

since my football knowledge is low, i enjoy making an imbalanced comparison...

but i wonder if it can truly be considered a comparison or if i even know what that word means

a little tip---i get really excited, you know what i mean, when people reply to my nonsense

My Plan!

We have decent talent in talent positions but we are lacking in recruiting.  Miami, and Pitt just lined up and killed us.  Neither team did anything fancy and smacked us in the mouth.

In the next 3 years he will...

  • 1a)Continue to improve recruiting, we have had 1 adequate recruiting class, he needs to continuously improve every year
  • 1b) In 3 years we will have a consistent pipeline of top 25 recruiting classes
  • 2) Win or Finish within 1 game of Conference Champion (I will give him some leeway in case another team or teams have a incredible year)

If the above happens I will then have the ability to properly judge his coaching ability.  I don't believe any amount of coaching could have helped us on the field against Pitt or UM.  They did nothing but line up and beat us off the ball, it was depressing how much better UM was than us, mostly because they were bigger and just as fast.

I want to see the day when we can line up against another bcs team, do nothing fancy and beat the other team.  Just beat them because we are bigger and better, not out-scheme them just beat them!  We'll save the scheme for the good schools!when we can just line up,

If he can't do this in 3 years then it is time to find someone who can or cut back spending on football and enjoy the few upsets we may have in a decade.

He has built this program from nothing, and regardless of what everyone says, it has improved but it is time we become established year in, year out.  By established I mean finishing top 25.

in 3 years we will be no better off

why would anything change?

you leavitt supporters are very funny

it took jim harbaugh 2 years to make stanford a very good team

it really shouldnt take leavitt 8 years to build a decent team.

a little tip---if leavitt hasnt done it by now it aint happening

Last I checked, Stanford is 8-4 this year with 2 victories over then ranked teams.  USF wins Saturday, and....they are 8-4 with 2 victories over then ranked teams.  Yet Stanford is somehow a "very good team" and Leavitt should be fired.  Interesting.

stanford has 3 ranked wins. washington was ranked when they beat them.

stanford was

1-11 in 2006

4-8 in 2007

5-7 in 2008

8-4 in 2009

their 4 losses are by a combined 28 points (7 ppg)

our 4 losses are by a combined 96 points (24 ppg)

they play 9 conference opponents and had 1 non-bcs team on their schedule(no 1-aa).

we had 7 conference opponents and had 2 1-aa teams and the worst non-bcs team in the country on our schedule.

they started a rs freshamn qb same as us. I'd say harbaugh did a hell of a job turning that program around.

Nobody really, just a fan who dabbled a little bit in sports back in the day and to your point not someone who can truly evaluate his coaching ability.  However, I do know if we have the size and talent to match up against a UM or Pitt, there is really only one factor left, coaching.

College sports is actually pretty simple, it comes down to recruiting and coaching, hence the ideas in the post.

Ah ha!  You just stepped in your own doo doo.

You've finally made a post that made any sense (incidentally, but you deserve full credit):

One can act like an idiot by always trying get attention from others or one can just be an idiot by falling for his own folly.  The bonus for you is you've accomplished both.

(And how do you know I'm jobless?  Just by my signature?  You've proven another point:  assumptions are for *sses and you've made over 57,000.  80 more and you'll really be considered a Legend...in a category fitting only for you.)
