A good losing season will call for careful examination of the team and the decisions being made about the program, this can be good for the program. We can load up on sun belt, 1-aa, c-usa cupcakes all we want to pad the record but BE play is all that matters.

The media is starting to expect this pattern from USF every year. This pattern of losses will begin to affect TV time, fan attendance and recruiting which impacts money, money and talent respectfully. I am really concerned for this team and the program if adjustments other then the cycle of RBs (Cheap shot) and the cycle of coaches does not change soon. For the last couple of years USF has been know as the "Darling of the Ball" or the "Startup" team, unfortunately the initial excitement has wearing off and now USF has to perform and show who they really are right now it does not look good. I personally believe it won't be long, a year or so, before the media starts to publicly ridicule USF's football program's lack of growth and Jim Leavitt's ability to take the team to another level. It is more likely that we just won't be talked about and will go back to the days when we were so excited just to see So FL, or whatever abbreviation they use, scroll across the bottom of the screen with our losing score. </sacrasm>

Hey, maybe CJL is smarter than we think and this is all part of his Master Plan--to make us a total laughing stock that no one takes seriously?? Then . . . then . . . when they're all asleep, we'll POUNCE, baby!! ;DBut, then, we'd end up going to a BCS bowl and getting slaughtered by a legit team (a la Oregon in the Sun Bowl). Oy. But as time goes on, I wonder if he doesn't talk about schemes and game plans because there aren't any. Maybe the lights are on but no one is home? Only half kidding.
