I was involved with jumping down on the field the first two times we did it-- I think that was against Southern Miss and the other was against Bowling Green. I got caught by the world's oldest police officer on the second one after I twisted my ankle dropping down off the railing.

I then became "media" taking pictures for this site so rushing the field became an afterthought. The other times I can remember fans rushing the field after that were Cinci in OT in 2003 and West Virginia in 2007. Can't recall any other games where the fans rushed the field-- even the UL game where we totally blew out a 21 point underdog situation.

People tried to rush for that UL upset but they got beat down and in some cases tazed.  I wish i could find the pic that was in the newspaper where the cop is tackling one of the fans.

That was awesome seeing our player cheering him on in the background! Go Bulls! Go fan jumpers! MikeG... if you recall correctly, I was the first over the wall in the win over BGSU and got taken down by the one donut eating cop!
