I just read in the Oracle about the increased numbers of arrests and ejections from last Thursday's game, and was wondering if anyone heard anything more about the field jumper?

In case you missed it, some very drunk guy got on the field during the 2nd quarter(?), took off his shirt, and ran into the Bulls kickoff huddle.  It sure took the cops a while to realize what was going on and grab the idiot.

ya the cops were totally lost...

It was during a TV timeout, right before a kickoff...

the guy jumped and nobody saw him, some of the cops right in front of me just looked at him.

What struck me funny was it took all the available state troopers to walk him off the field and into the tunnel. If there was a second "jumper" there would be no one there to stop them. Too funny

Yea, that was hilarious.  We were cracking up at the time.  And it did take the cops forever to get him.

The take down was sloppy too.  Looked like the keystone kops.

He was on the field what felt like about a full minute or more before he was spotted.  At one point he was practically in our huddle.

Drunk dude was mad sneaky.

I don't know much about the field jumper, but there was one heck of a brawl between a few guys heckling fans for leaving early in our section(219) and the cops.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
