Grothe's injury inspired me to get off my butt and finally register for the site. I don't know why really, lol.

That said -- his play will be missed. I'm sure he'll still be the same leader and competitor he's always been with the team though. He'll just have a new way in which to be involved.

I know there are a lot of posts out there about Matt Grothe injuring his knee.  And I hope he sees all of the "we'll miss you Matt" and "what will we do now" type of posts.

But, I just want to put out there that I really feel for him.  Ever since I got the news that it wasn't a sprain and he was done for the season, I swear I feel like someone killed by dog.  I feel so bad for him!  He's contributed so much to USF's football program, elected to stay for his senior season (knowing how many strong QBs are coming out in this years draft vs last years)... and then this happens. 

Matt, work hard, get yourself back.  And have one heck of a NFL combine.  I'd love to see you at the next level.

I tried it and I feel better.  But mostly because my neighbor is a UCF alumni.

While I'd say it was the feeling of about 3 swift kicks to the nutz, it definitely wasn't as bad a feeling of finding my doggie dead on the road when I was a kid.
