They sent something out when these first went up...I can't remember if it was an email, tweet, Facebook, press release, website posting, etc.

With so many options, I can't remember where I heard about it...however, it was announced through one of those sources a couple weeks ago.  This is not the first I heard of it.  The tweet just reminded me it was ending.

They may have announced that they were going to do a series of auctions for this, but I check that site occassionally and it wasn't there early last week.

I've both bid and won items on that site, and have never received an email from other than when I've doen something to trigger it.  Repeat business is critical for things like that, and they're missing an opportunity, IMO.

Last year we started auctioning off opportunities for "non-students" to participate.  Initially, this was an idea to give USF students the opportunity to find out what it felt like to run out with the team.  We've had various others take place, Richard Gonzmart, Mike Pepper, and a few other adult Bulls fans.

Some of you may not like it but get used to it.  It's not going anywhere.  Go Bulls!

I think its a great idea, just undercommunicated.  It is difficult to sell something that nobody knows you're selling.

I'll be bidding on the WVU version, as I'll be in Tampa for the game.
