The Seminoles will wear their normal road jersey and pair it with seldom worn white game pants."We know the idea of the team and everyone in the stands wearing white will create a lot of excitement," said FSU Director of Marketing Jason Dennard. "The players always like to change things up a bit so it should be fun for both our team and USF who will be wearing their home jerseys."FSU will offer an official "white-out" t-shirt that is available immediately at the FSU Bookstore, Bill’s Bookstore, Garnet and Gold and fans from outside Tallahassee can purchase them on Seminoles.com. All proceeds from the sale of the official t-shirt will return to the FSU Athletics Department. In addition to the "white-out" logo on the front, the t-shirt features a small SEMINOLES UNITE logo on the back. The logo, which was unveiled on the 2009 football schedule poster, was developed to promote uniting the Seminole fan base while branding Florida State athletic pieces across all sports. The "Seminoles Unite" graphic image will appear on every collateral piece produced by the marketing and promotions department as well as the school’s media guides and game programs."The graphic image is essentially a stamp that identifies with Florida State athletics and reinforces our fan bases' enthusiasm," said Deputy Athletic Director Kellie Elliott. "We are taking steps in both football and basketball to maximize the game experience for both our players and our fans. We have reconfigured some football seating in an effort to allow the entire student section to sit together, to provide a new family zone in the south end zone and to open up some more premium seating for FSU fans. The fans are a critical part of the game atmosphere and we want to spread that energy throughout our programs."The Seminoles Unite logo will be featured on a number of items available to fans in the upcoming months.http://www.tomahawknation.com/2009/8/4/977293/florida-state-whiteout-the

Guest
When USF sends out the tickets, they should put a little note on the letter they send with it"Wear green!"Now... this is a chance for BullsHeaven* to insert a "wear green" message with the tickets. It's also a chance for BullsOutfitter, Bealls, SportsFanAttic, etc... to push the GREEN shirts.* NOTE: BullsHeaven is the official Athletics provider, and the mention here is only for that purpose. This is not meant to be an endorsement of any particular venue.

The only problem with "green outs" is we have to many casual bandwagon fans that aren't really into the team to help start traditions.
