Just curious, but why isn't this guy showing up on Rivals as a commit?

Maybe you should ask that question on their board.

Ha! Ha!

Actually, I e-mailed Rivals months ago that both Weatherspoon and Davis had given USF a verbal and provided them with links to corroborating articles. I never heard back from them and, quite frankly, didn't expect I would.

Yeah. Rivals just added Davis like a week or 2 ago to our commits list despite the fact that he commited months ago.

I am not sure what the deal is with that site.  Its probably because they have almost no USF subscribers.  USFnation from Scout gets all the USF subs and thus can spend a lot more time and money covering USF.

Weatherspoon recorded eight tackles in Dean’s NFC clinching victory over Lackawanna.  Seven of his tackles were solo and one was for a loss.  He also intercepted a pass.

Curtis and his team are going bowling. I hope he they have more success in his Sun Bowl than we did:

The 2009 Mississippi Bowl, slated for Sunday, Dec. 6 in Biloxi, will pit the No. 5 East Mississippi Lions and the sixth-ranked Matadors of Arizona Western College.SCOOBA – As first-time state football champions, the fifth-ranked Lions of East Mississippi Community College have accepted an invitation to take on No. 6 Arizona Western College in the 2009 Mississippi Bowl.  The second annual contest will be played Sunday, Dec. 6 in Biloxi.  Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at 6,000-seat Biloxi Indian Stadium.

Curtis was named to the NJCAA All-American 2nd team. Congrats to him.
