I thought it was funny when he would go into some retro mode and say "The score is 41 for the Bulls of south Florida and 14 for the Tigers of Memphis"... or Memphis State, wherever the hell that came from.

I wasn't there, but if it was the guy from UCF, his name is Erik Kohler.  I've met they guy over in Melbourne last season when he did PA for a few games for the team I worked for.  He's a good guy, knows his stuff, and has his own style.  Every announcer has their ownkick, and his does work.

Yes, they are pissing and moaning about it on the UCF Rivals board...  Upset that they felt he sounded "excited" for USF when he called out the USF first downs, etc....   

I think it is hilarious.....  It really is getting to them over there... An entire thread dedicated to it.

Memphis used to be called Memphis St back in the day, some old school Tiger fans still refer to it as Memphis St
